letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so
attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room.
The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added
extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We
also had a massage each in the spa centre which was fantastic. The
location is more than you could ask for- everything on the doorstep!!

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location. With this in mind I will be using this hotel again for future visits to Edinburgh. - Interesting food in Tapas style bar.

The hotel offered a 20% discount on the parking garage, which was only 1 block away from the hotel. - The staff went above and beyond. When they found out our 8 year old daughter was with us, they added a double bed for not extra charge.

Definitely best choice for Edinburgh. Have stayed at Balmoral 3 times already, and every time was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!
