I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. -

Warm welcome on arrival, and very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous accommodation with very helpful staff - stayed here with my partner as we were attending a wedding close by - did not have a chance to experience Dundee but this would be a great base from which to do so. Would definitely choose here over a hotel room every time! -

Staff very helpful allowed us to check-in earlier than stated. We could leave our luggage safe for a few hours after we checked-out. Room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. Their luxuriously decorated accomodations, fabulous food and truly helpful service are among the best I have encountered in more than 20 years of staying in B & B's. Top notch in every way!

Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges. Staff were pleasant and accomodating when we showed up a few hours prior to the check in time. The hotel has a lounge/bar area, a sunroom, patio and a restaurant. All meals were fabulous. -

We were made to feel very welcome. It was all so genuine, there wasnever any feeling of the owners faking their smiles etc. - rooms where great, We loved the place, they could not do enough for us....we will be back .
