I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. -

Warm welcome on arrival, and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast the following morning, again the staff couldn't have been nicer. Thank you. - I felt relaxed and valued as a customer. Fabulous accommodation with very helpful staff - stayed here with my partner as we were attending a wedding close by - did not have a chance to experience Dundee but this would be a great base from which to do so. Would definitely choose here over a hotel room every time! -

A really well located place to stay, right in the heart of Dundee. The
staff were very friendly, the room had everything we needed, including
coffee making facilities. We shared a very clean bathroom with only one

Staff very helpful allowed us to check-in earlier than stated. We could leave our luggage safe for a few hours after we checked-out. Room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. Their luxuriously decorated accomodations, fabulous food and truly helpful service are among the best I have encountered in more than 20 years of staying in B & B's. Top notch in every way!

Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

We were met on arrival by James who was an exceptionally nice young man. He made our short stay run very smoothly.The room was very clean and well set out and cleaned each morning. Breakfast was very good qualty with more than enough to eat and a great choice. The drawing room was a very nice place to relax and read etc at the end of the day.All in

A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges. Staff were pleasant and accomodating when we showed up a few hours prior to the check in time. The hotel has a lounge/bar area, a sunroom, patio and a restaurant. All meals were fabulous. -

Liked the little touches - nice bathrobes,slippers provided, coffee/tea tray. Staff in the bar were lovely. Lovely breakfast, served a bit earlier for us as we had a fishing trip booked and needed to leave 10-15mis after breakfast should start.

We were made to feel very welcome. It was all so genuine, there wasnever any feeling of the owners faking their smiles etc. - rooms where great, We loved the place, they could not do enough for us....we will be back .
