All rooms at the Pension Rose come with private balconies with views of the green garden. Each room is air conditioned and has a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Guests can cross the river by boat and visit the ancient ruins of Kaunos on the other side. Rose Pension is a 15-minute drive from the Köyceğiz Gölü Lake and a 20-minute drive from the Mediterranean Sea.

I felt very lucky to have a room on the top floor with a view to the tombs. Big room rooms, clean bathrooms etc. Location was perfect. The owners were incredibly helpful and on my first night recommended a place to try blue crab which was devine (Ceyhan Restaurant). They also encouraged me to visit Candir village after Kaunos (a 20 minute walk) where I experienced the highlight of my trip - meet a Yoruk man who has set up a cultural centre of Yoruk memorabilia.
