Surrounded by a mature garden with climbing vines, Rose Pension offers a rooftop terrace overlooking the famous stone tombs in Dalyan. It is a 5-minute walk from the Dalyan Çayı River. Breakfast buffet is served every morning and consists of 100% organic produce. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on the shaded terrace, while drinks are available at Rose’s bar. All rooms at the Pension Rose come with private balconies with views of the green garden. Each room is air conditioned and has a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Guests can cross the river by boat and visit the ancient ruins of Kaunos on the other side. Rose Pension is a 15-minute drive from the Köyceğiz Gölü Lake and a 20-minute drive from the Mediterranean Sea.

I felt very lucky to have a room on the top floor with a view to the tombs. Big room rooms, clean bathrooms etc. Location was perfect. The owners were incredibly helpful and on my first night recommended a place to try blue crab which was devine (Ceyhan Restaurant). They also encouraged me to visit Candir village after Kaunos (a 20 minute walk) where I experienced the highlight of my trip - meet a Yoruk man who has set up a cultural centre of Yoruk memorabilia.
