Great great location-I can't emphasise this more- right next to cathedral n all the impt buses- airport bus stops right in front and straight bus to train station as well. Kitchennete, coffee maker with capsules and utensils came in really handy. No breakfast provided but that didn't bother us at all a - We arrived thinking we had booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apt. The apts have only 1 bath, so we inquired about getting another apt. Ivonna made a few calls and the manager allowed us to rent another 2 bedroom and reduce the rate on the booked apt (they charge per person in most Spainish properties) so that for 2 apartments (2bed/1bath) the total came to 20 euros less for our stay!!!! The apts were immaculate! Large bathrooms and bedrooms. Firms twin beds. Comfortable sheets and blankets. Ivonna

  since I was waiting with a ' busted knee ' for 2 tests ( the day after I returned ) walking was a problem. Especially stairs. put in my booking message.   El Duque is situated perfectly. I was in Seville for four days and three nights and didn´t use a taxi or bus at any time, it was possible to walk everywhere, even from the railway station to the hostal. We covered all of the old town and surround.   Quiet in October, which suited us,excellent facilities (pools, dining, rooms, bathrooms), very clean and all staff helpful and friendly. One of the nicest we have stayed at. - The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we intend to return for another visit.

  This is the best location you could ask for if you want to stay as close to Gibraltar as possible without having to pay Gibraltar hotel costs.
