  The hotel was just a 5 min top walking distance from the metro station in a quiet, with not many tourists, neighbourhood. (The city centre was about a 15min metro ride away). There is a bakery and a grocery shop just next to it and the supermarket was just a block away. We enjoyed some great food in the area and I would recommend eating a plate of Iberico at the butcher's terrace. We arrived at the hotel very early and had the option to either have the room early - Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location.
