  The hotel was just a 5 min top walking distance from the metro station in a quiet, with not many tourists, neighbourhood. (The city centre was about a 15min metro ride away). There is a bakery and a grocery shop just next to it and the supermarket was just a block away. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location.   I liked a lot Barcelona.I is a great city .Hotel Everest was also a very good choice for our holiday .Staff were very friendly. In conclusion totally r - I like the location as a solo traveller it is away from the bustle of the centre, but close to La Sagrada Familia and Hospital de Sant Pau. On previous visits I have stayed in one of the apartments - very good. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. Big bathroom, again spotlessly clen.
