  The hotel is a little jewel in the middle of the old town, just behind the Alcazar and the Cathedral, overlooking a beautiful little cobbled square, lined with orange trees. The location of the hotel is great, just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. It is strongly recommended. - All in all a fine hotel but nothing extraordinary except very helpful staff. Location was good but very hard to find. Thanks to the review of a previous guest we mentioned the name Plaza Santa Cruz to the taxi driver which we took after we parked our car at a far away and very expensive public parking. Breakfast was so so, not even eggs or fresh juıce.

  The hotel is beautiful and very much a private oasis despite being just two blocks from the cathedral and Real Alcazar. My room on the first floor (#3) had a private, shaded, large terrace with lovely plantings, a table, and chairs. WiFi worked well in my room. The reception staff, especial - Highly impressed with the hotel and the exceptional service of each and every staff, specially Marta. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they had everything at the tip of their fingers and guided us in the best possible way in terms of tours and other things. We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed every bit. We would love to return to Casa Seville if we go back to Seville. Thanks Marta and team for looking after us and making us feel at home.

Check Teresa bar opposite for delicious tapas and try local 'tinto de verano' drink which is a mix of wine with lemon. The hostal is located in a very old house so ready for a piece of history. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

Amazing property, great locati - We stayed on the fourth floor and had amazing view of one of the Cathedral arches. Amazing to see this from our living room. Apt was nice size and easily sleeps five. One BR had queen size bed and other two twins. Living room also had full size bed in a nook along with a couch. Apt was clean and nice. Reception staff was nice.

Everything is well within walking distance. Our room (ground floor facing the patio) was quiet and cleaned daily. We found the matresses were fine (firm, though). Save entrance, kind staff, good Wi-Fi connection, both in our room and on the patio. Breakfast is not included, but there are very affordable and good breakfast bars around the corner.
