  We were given a Junior Suite which was spacious with huge bed, sofa and extra bed. The plasma TV was also huge. The bedroom is separated by a door from the entrance and bathroom (spacious with big shower and bathtub). It is really quiet, soundproofing seems to be working. Police office is next door and it gave us some sense of security. - I thought the standard of the hotel was excellent and better than I had expected. The power shower in the room was amazing.

A beautiful vista of the Alhambra from the roof-top terrace (don't expect to have a good view from your window).   The hotel was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel is brilliantly located to explore Granada, is in excellent condition and very clean and up-to-date, and as it didn't have an evening restaurant (it does do breakfast) there is no pressure to eat in the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had. We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts. We'll go back again at this time of year. The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.

  Hostal Rodri has been the best choice for our week stay in Granada. We have received an incredible helpful and warm welcome and you could tell that the staff really care about the guests. This should really be called hotel, not hostel! The staff was extremely obliging and gave us a lot of helpful information (like nice restaurants, bars etc.). We first had trouble parking the car, but the owner of the hotel (I guess) even came with us to our car to park it for us! The room as well as the bathroom was very nice and really clean. We really had everything we needed and we highly recommend Hostal Rodri for a trip to Granada!
