Employees were very friendly and helpful. The young man who checked us in spent lots of time explaining our transportation options once I told him our plans for the day. The hostel is more beyong being a hostel.. It is like a 4 star hotel in everything..
1) location is excellent-- 4 minutes walk from the metro station and around it, several cafe's, starbucks, and mini markets

The location couldn't be better (very close to the metro, local restaurants, the rambla, carrefour and a lot of supermarkets).
The staff helped a lot and had the very handy 24hour service. Wifi also works great.

Friendly receptionists, room kept very clean, elevator, very good air cond, close to a mercado, La Rambla, La Boqueria market, fast food places, metros Liceu and Catalunya. Great water pressure for shower.

I was staying for 3 noghts, and asked to not be woken up in the morning by the cleaner. I had my privacy, and got new towels every day while I was out. The staff at the reception was really friendly and polite! Very pationet when I asked for directiones:) I also like where the hotel is situated. Thanks for a good stay. I will be back!:) -

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean
and staff is very pleasant and helpful.I Would recommend it to everyone.

Really nice apartment. It was great to be so close to Sagrada Familia, in a really nice area of the city, very central. Very friendly and informative staffs. Superb location. La Bouqeria Market, La Rambla Street, Metro station and bus stop is at the doorstep. The room was large with a balcony and shower. The common toilet was always clean. Breakfast was OK. It was the best hostel I stayed in my Eurotrip. If you are in a budget trip. This is where you must stay in Barcelona.
