  I stayed early Jan 2009. The food was excellent. The staff were superb. The room was sufficient. Apart from the bedroom, it had a lovely traditional feel to the place. It was convenient for the free ski bus and the Expressbussen to Oslo airport. It was a better location for non-beginner ski slopes than Fagerasen area.   The place is owned by a friendly and helpful Dutch couple. It's self-contained, with a restaurant that doubles as a bar. This was handy as on the night of our stay, they did appear to be the only gig in town for eating. The food was reasonable and definitely plentiful.   My boyfriend and I stayed at Løkken Fjellgård during a week long road trip through the Norwegian countryside. We wanted to stay at different types of places and Løkken Fjellgård was certainly one of the most interesting. We stayed in a grass roofed cottage, which was on a compound with a few other cabins, as well as a working farm. Mehran and his wife were very friendly and gave us a tour - The cabin itself is a piece of history. The couple who own the farm are super kind and very helpful. If you want to play with some very cute huskies, stay in their farm!
