The Riad Le Calife is a wonderful experience, from the gracious welcome and the comfortable check in (with its mint tea), through the delightful rooms, garden, terraces, to the wonderful meals. I highly recommend this Riad if you want to have an awesome time in Fes! Marco and Fiela are amazing, and will do anything to make you feel at home. Riad Layla is on the edge of the Medina, but it is only a few minutes
walk from the blue gate. The terrace has a fantastic view of the old
Medina. The breakfast every morning is wonderful, and each of the staff
is extremely friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 days, and
we extended another day of stay in Fez. Both Chaimae and Iolanda speak
fluent English and are gracious in providing us tips around the Medina.
They are exceptionally wonderful hosts. The riad is beautiful, clean,
