  The hotel is located a few minutes away from the city center. It is owned by a gentleman from United Kingdom. Very nice home atmosphere made us feel very welcomed. We were given a few good tips of places to visit. Coffee and breakfast were great. Totally recommend travelers visiting Merida to choose Yucatan Vista.   I chose the Casa Chalia because the reviews rated the hosts and breakfast so highly and I was not a bit disappointed. When you arrive you do not find a grand lobby but you do get a welcome that makes you feel as if you are at home, and have someone to turn to should you have any questions about getting around Merida.
