  The location of the hotel was a huge plus. It was directly across the street from the jr Nikko train station, and a short walk from the Nikko Tobu station. We found this very convenient as it meant we didn't have to go far with our luggage, but it's good to be aware that it's about 2-2.5km from the main centre of Nikko and the world heritage sites, so it will be either a reasonable walk or a bus ride from the hotel to anywhere you want to go. The hotel is right next to a river, which makes your sleep very pleasant.There's an indoor hot bath which is very nice.   The hotel situate right next to the lake. We had our dinner and breakfast. The food is alright. I like the front row view of the chuzenji lake. - Nice location that oversees the lake; Excellent (western/fusion) breakfast and dinner at the restaurant next door. The staff were friendly too.
