The property owner was a super-friendly elderly lady, she even offered to show us around the city. The property also has 4 bicycles available, so it's possible to ride to most locations within Kyoto, including Gion and most temples, shrines and castles. There's not much to dislike about this place - it's small, but cute and cozy.
