Both Mr and Mrs Maruyama treating us like family, we feel like we have a mother looking after us in Hakuba.   The staff service is great and they go out of their way to make your stay excellent. Very comfortable bed. Lounge is nice to hangout. Breakfast fits the bill.

  The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help you where possible. The onsen was a highlight and great way to end the day after a big day snowboarding.   Location was excellent both for mountain access and also for easy stroll to restaurants and bars. Staff were locals and helped as much as we needed. Great inside/outside Onsen within the hotel, and the included Japanese and Western breakfasts were buffet style and had a good range to choose from.   The room was huge with is very appreciated in Japan. The onsen, free for guest at the hotel is a real treat after a day of skiing.
