  This place is an absolute gem: close to Montalcino, Pienza, etc., yet removed from the tourist craziness down a private road. The scenery is stunning, and the facilities are superb. The apartment is spacious, well appointed with lovely furniture and detailing, and so, so clean. The food in the downstairs restaurant is simple yet fantastic (Aldy is... co mówią ludzie » a chef), and the wine is exceptional. Madalena and Aldy are wonderful hosts, and are so welcoming. We sat together and talked, Madalena showed me aro - It was the best stay in our trip to Italy!!! Just imagine: the beautifull house in the wineyards totally at your disposal, a gourmet dinner with simlpe local products made specially and personally for you, a great hi-end wine Brunello de Montalchino, and the warmest people who are making all of this for you. One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe - The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.
