  The pictures don't do Villa Giulia justice! It is much lovelier in person! Incredible value for money. The Villa layout/design was obviously well planned, perfectly maintained and impeccably clean. The hospitable hosts/owners speak Italian which added to the cultural charm of our stay (a lot of hand gesturing). We usually stay in 4-star hotels, rather than bed-and-breakfasts, but were on a limited budget, and Saturnia is expensive in May. It is nice 6-flat hotel, family-owned, they manage/clean/take care of everything as a couple, but you will be amazed they worked so hard to have everybody at the hotel feel so happy. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.

We received very good help to find restaurants with good italian food in the nearby small villages. Only about 20 minutes by car to beach. We will be back!
