  What a unique experience that to stay at Villa Agape for a fantastic introduction to Florence. Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive setting is a perfect oasis away from the always crowded historic center. Inside, the huge villa offers many areas that give you a sense of a family home more than a conve - The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

  The view was fantastic and the location was nicely tucked away from the busier areas. The close proximity to the beach was another plus. We stayed in early June during the week before high season really started and it was perfect. The beach was quiet and water was cool, but not too cold to swim in. We were upgraded at no extra charge to a room with a balcony and a stunning view of the sea. The breakfast was excellent and there was a lovely terrace, also with beautiful views.
