  Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day.   Perfect location in Muggia, a nice little town outside of Trieste. The owner, Lydia, was very nice and helpful with everything from restaurants to contacts with the police when we got parking fines! Comfortable rooms with a big common terrace. Well worth the money!   Basic but comfortable, clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Muggia is a lovely place for a good dinner on the marina. Trieste not too far away.

  Villa Marin is first and foremost a family hotel .Every aspect of the hotel is run by members of the owning family.The hotel has been in ownership of this family for three generations and it runs very smoothly .The resturant is overseen by one of the brothers who makes a point of going to every table at breakfast to check that the guests are enjoy... co mówią ludzie » ing their stay . (Grado is frequented by mostly Austrian - Grado is a lovely town and Villa Marin is in a great location over-looking the sea. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Bed was comfortable. It was extremely hot while we were there but there was a ceiling fan in the room. The room we had had a balcony with a partial sea view.

The staff are tremendously helpful, all you need to do is to ask them for - Staff were very friendly and helpful, I did not arrive in Trieste until midnight as was delayed en route - despite the inconvenience to them they stayed open for me to check in. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of breads, savouries and tea/coffee. Great location, only minutes from centre and train station, hotel is on very quiet road. Hotel very clean, including shared bathrooms
