My daughter and I had an incredible, relaxing time at Villa Pane. Last year I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento but this was much much better. We had a large, clean room with terrace and an amazing view of the Bay but the best thing was the hospitality of the family and the staff. I can also really recommend dinner in the evening. Villa Pane felt like home! Gianluigi and Ana Maria were so welcoming. Their villa is beautiful surrounded by the hills of Sorrento with lemon, fig, olive, orange trees everywhere. The walk to town is stunning, although Gianluigi is always ready to shuttle guests to and from the villa. Another fabulous bonus is the food served! We had an apartment. Didn't use kitchen area as we ate at the family

and jam with coffee or tea was served in the sweet garden setting and
was plentiful. Hostess Maria was very helpful. Ensure your credit card
has a pin. Signature along does not work. We chose to book transport
back to Naples airport rather than rely on 4modes of public transport as
connections are poor. We would stay again at Casa Vacanze Vittoria.

Their restaurant isn't always open for dinner so make sure you have lunch there as the food is delicious. It's about a 30min walk to Anacapri but if you don't want to walk they will drive you there and pick you up whenever you want. The distance out of town is worth it for the view and peaceful surrounds.

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
