  The hotel is run by a great family who made our holiday very special. Our room had a lovely sea view as did the breakfast balcony. On the occasions when we had an evening meal at the hotel the food was really good quality - plus the wonderful view. We have stayed in many hotels and this rates among the best.   We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool.

  Hotel was in an excellent location, really central but not noisy. We had a room with a terrace which overlooked the pool. There was a nice range of breakfast fare. - The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and nicely landscaped...we used the pool and it was fantastic, a nice place to get away from the crowds. (and trust me, there are massive crowds during the day when the cruise ships come to town....) Our room (212) was huge with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The hotel was in a good location, just a quick walk from the main piazza. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.
