  We were traveling by car. Excellent restaurant although a bit expensive for budget travelers. Good breakfast. We were put in a big room with terrace with astonishing view of the region.   Perfect hotel, very friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and warm pool. It takes some time (15 minutes) to reach the sea. But for us it was positive moment - it is so nice to have walk.   The location of the hotel was beautiful overlooking the sea from the balcony or the terrace. The van shuttle service to pickup from the bus stop was most appreciate with luggage.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise. To sum it up: -The service was attentive and impeccable (special thanks to Luciano!) - Rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and staff made every attempt to make your stay to the highest standards. - Grounds were amazing. You really feel special, rooms are very fresh, staff is highly attentive to your requests, the hotel has a nice spa area and good gym.

  We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a sea facing room which was much appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers everything you could want!
