The Italian couple that owns the B&B are delightful and full of energy. Made us feel very welcomed since the first moment we step foot on the place -even gave us a welcome beer on the house when we first got there and sang me happy birthday at midnight as a surprise.

We enjoyed our stay at the 'New York of Naples' - it was a very smooth transatlantic crossing!!. Fabrizio and Aida were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and helpful hosts - our lack of Italian was no problem!. Lovely complimentary coffee/tea/juice etc as well as welcome beer 'alla spina' on arrival. Thank you also for the oranges which we enjoyed on the train!! An excellent selection of cafes too in which to use our breakfast voucher. Location ideal for a stroll in the historic part of Nap

We have only stayed at B&B's a couple times, as we normally prefer hotels, but we loved everything about Atmosfere Del Centro Storico. Bozena is just a treasure. Within 5 minutes of meeting her, you will feel like you have known her all your life. She went out of her way to make us as comfortable as possible, and we slept so soundly, which I was not expecting in a chaotic city like Naples. This was an outstanding experience and everything in this B&B was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and gracious upon our arrival in getting us oriented with Napoli. Our room was spotless, comfortable and appeared to be recently renovated. The port, castle, bus station and old town are all within walking distance. As a result, we would gladly stay there again when we return to the city.

This is such a lovely place to stay. When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. Most of all i recommend this place to everybody who doesn't want to stay in napoli, but want to visit. the place located in portici, which you can feel "real" napoli area, not dangerous but normal people's town. the herculaneum is amazing. Train to napoli is just 7 stops
