We were so surprised by how warm and welcoming the family is at Villa Ketty. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely divine. All fresh and hand made. The views of the sea from everywhere on the resort are spectacular. We want to go back with our kids. You have to try their limoncello. Excellent. A hidden gem.

Everything. The host Marco was very friendly, he gave us great advise regarding restaurants, he even called us before chek-in hour to inform that our room is ready and we can come earlier. Pls note if using a GPS that Via Crocelle is a walking street but only a few steps from a driving street, it is actually directly across from the Auditorium, so easy to find and we'll located. The Palazzo Jannuzi Relais was a perfect location right in the center of Sorrento. Was one of the best small hotels we have ever stayed in. Our room overlooked Piazza Tasso and was spacious, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was amazing, lovely and fresh and a great choice - fresh fruits, pastries, cakes, sliced meats, cheeses, eggs, cappuccino and more....and was served on the sunny terrace or lovely sunroom area. Because it was a low season there were no other guests at the hotel. The owners (a family) are friendly and helpful, and offer free ride to Anacapri so you don't need to walk up and down the steep hill. This B&B hotel sits high on the mountain side in Anacapri, which is a bit less tourist-oriented than the sister town of Capri (which has the main ferry port). The views, which extend to Naples and Vesuvius, are wonderful. While one can walk a very steep road down into Anacapri proper, the hosts also provide a shuttle – which is recommended if transporting luggage, etc.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, which deserves all the best rating it has. I would say it is rather 3 star hotel than B&B. New, clean, comfortable, close to city centre and railway station featuring open terrace, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine that allows you to have proper cappuccino for breakfast. After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. The scenery from the windows with a view of the port are beautiful.
