The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated and quiet. Whilst it does not have elevated views overlooking Positano, it makes up for it with lovely gardens and views up the hillside. However, we prefer places with character that add to the memories, as opposed to indifferent chain-style hotels. We spend our time outside the hotel, but like to have a comfortable place to stay.   Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. We also lucked out and were given a free - The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

  Location, The room, the view from the balcony, the services, facilities- all were perfect . The hotel is very elegant and breakfast was extraordinary. The staff was amazing - Very helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast. Quiet location but only 5 mins walk from centre of town. Roof top pool/terrace - stunning views.

  The hotel grounds were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was great eggs and bacon and delicious cakes. And the staff were great. - Beautiful location and friendly staff. Lovely hotel and spa. Good buffet type breakfast. I come here regularly and enjoy it every time.

  By far the best hotel in Sorrento. You can't get any better. The staffis excellent, the location is unbeatable, and the Leonelli's Beach Clubbelow is the absolute best. The lift to the beach was great but even ifyou stayed a bit longer and had to walk back up, it was very easy. Thebreakfast here was fabulous. Great breakfasts, superb sea views and very helpful and efficient staff. There is a lift from inside the hotel down to the beach which is very useful. Would definitely stay there again.

  Recepionist was very helpful we wanted to book in for an extra night and there was no problem - Peace and quietness/very good service of the courtesy bus and a very good driver in Mariano.
