  Loved the room. (Room 202). When you went in the room door there was a living room area with 2 arm chairs, coffee table, fire place, TV, and an eating table with 2 chairs. Off that room was a small kitchen - the basics tea/coffee and ample storage. Next room was the bedroom. This was quite big with a very big comfy bed. I didn't avail o - Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.

My room was huge, containing a large double and two single beds, this was not an 'upgrade', I had paid for a non refundable room in advance. Staff all friendly and very helpful, in particular the girl who checked me in, didn't get her name, but she's off to Ibiza on holiday shortly! Lovely courtyard out back with waitress service (food and drink) and where smoking is permitted. Highly recommended.

  I recently stayed at Abigail's for 3 days with my wife and 4 year son. Abigail's located at heart of the city close to restaurants, shopping, bars and pick-up points for most tours. Staff is very friends. Breakfast consisting of break, butter, jam, coffee, yoghurt, eggs, milk and cereals is included. I was at some other hostel to see a friend and trust me,it wasn't half as nice as Abigail's. It was the first statement I made immediately I could manage to. All in all, it is a very very nice place to stay. Plus,breakfast was very good.

We never used any transport except of tour buses - evetything is a short wack far (quays, Temple bar, the Trinity college). Staff (at reception desk, dining room, and housekeeping) were friendly and super-helpful. WiFi connection was very strong. Room was comfortable. Area very safe. Is across the street from the Gate teater where I saw 2 excellent plays, and less than 5 minutes from supermarket, department
