All of the reception personnel were extremely gracious and helpful. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around. It was they who made it a stress-free trip. Takk

The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the city and a perfect walk to almost every point of interest. - The rooms were very funky but cosy. The location was perfect, 2 mins walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here on a return visit.

We were a family group: Grandpa, Grandma, Daughter, grandsons ages 11,
12. We needed affordable lodging near shopping and public
transportation. Downtown Reykjavik Apartments (dra) met and exceeded our
requirements. The dra is just 2 blocks from one of the main bus stations
in Reykjavik. From that point, one can travel anywhere in the City.

We booked the smallest and cheapest available room (the double studio). When we arrived, finding our keys and room was very easy.
The room was small but very clean - the bedding smelt very fresh. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant.
I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more). However when the owner and Thora heard it was the last leg of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a 3 bed

Staff was really nice and helpful, the room was warm and clean. The hotel is located 2min from the main street and 10min from the center (by walking) and really cheaper than other center hotels. - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially with organising bus transfers, trips and taxi's.
