The owner wasn't in town while we were here but the woman in charge gave us tons of info and stories on Iceland, the volcano and folklore. She was so nice and pleasant and even though the chef wasn't in our meal was delicious!! There's a huge rock/mountain outside that is very picturesque and we were surrounded by fields and sheep (of course) and a few horses, while the waterfall pounded on in the distance. This was definitely an enjoyable stay.

It was the best guesthouse we have ever seen!!!! The young owner is absolutely charming and friendly and gabe each information you ask for. The house inside id newly renovated. A big comfortable and old stylished kitchen, a big dining table where the breakfast was served (nearly everything you can imagine) with homemade pancakes and a couch are in the entrance. Two rooms with bathroom are also there and two rooms with shared bathroom in the decond floor. All rooms exquisite and the bath a dream

Just excellent. Good view from the room. The staff is extremely helpful, who even helped us to repair the car. Kitchen is available all the time and the staff can even wash the dishes for you. -

It was a really nice experience that I recommend. The container was very clean and warm.
Every one of them has got a fabulous view on the sea.
There is a separate kitchen in a container too.
It is a nice concept.

Location on the historic Reynir farm is beautiful and close by to Vik for groceries. The black beach down the road offers good viewing of birds and we also saw seals.

We just stayed 1 night after doing Golden Circle and before continuing trip on south coast, and these cottages were a lucky choice, really exceeded the expectations we had, price being so low. Great location off route 1 and all we needed for overnight stay (comfy beds, hot shower and coffee machine). We also found all the cooking utensils and tableware needed for our dinner.
