Very clean, comfortable and modern facilities. Friendly and helpful staff who knew about the area and helped us to book a hike/glacier trip. Good food as a set menu can be found in the farmhouse next door. Excellent breakfast, including homemade waffles.I would definitely stay here again.

The staff service was excellent. We encountered a blown tyre and we seek help from the staff. The staffs who are the owners, drove to our vehicle and assisted us to replace the blown tyre. After that they drove my parents to the accommodation. Once we have settled down, her husband drove to a mechanic workshop to fix the tyre for us even though it

Were in Vopnafjordur for a specific reason, but could not get over how beautiful, relaxing and simply wonderful the area was - one of the the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The farm was lovely, although a little more remote than we'd expected. Had one of the best nights sleeps ever though...very comfortable

It was a home away from home. We wanted to go Skaftafell and although this was pretty far away (not for Icelandic standards by the way, 103 km from Skaftafell), we are glad we made the detour. Fantastically friendly owners who provided great advice on what to see locally - especially the walk out to one of the glaciers behind the guesthouse. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms were immaculately clean and very pleasant to stay in with great shared bathrooms/shower rooms, the wifi internet access was very good and they had a computer for those without mobile devices. This was our first stop in Iceland and was the most homely and welcoming place we stayed for the entire holiday!

We stayed in the annexe at the back of the main guesthouse. Serve yourself breakfast was included which was good, guests sitting room and kitchen/dining room were nice and spacious. Nice outside seating area.
