This is a very pleasant hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a well appointed ensuite bathroom and a balcony with a sea view. The hotel is small but very cozy. Despite the evident age - the facility
is more than a hundred years old -, it is clean and well-kept.
Breakfast, served by a wonderfully friendly woman in a quaint dining
room, is abundant and of excellent quality. The staff is welcoming and
helpful, and almost every member speaks French, English and Italian. We
stayed in a double room looking out onto the village and it was spacious
and well-furnished, with a large bathroom full of high quality

A little ways from the bustling center of this not very bustling community. Pleasant room with a balcony overlooking the small-boat harbor. Our facilities were comfortable, kept scrupulously clean. The people at the desk were most helpful and (with the possible exception of a superlative example of "French reserve") a delight to ask about things.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. We were very pleased with this hotel. It is an easy walk from the train station and the bus picks up just around the corner. This was a welcoming, most convenient, comfortable and quiet hotel - just what we wanted. Excellent airy, large room, with beautifully tiled bathroom. Someone on hand at all times during the day for advice and help - although a keypad system for after 10.00 pm. Reasonable value delicious breakfast taken in the garden - a really nice touch. The best view of Nice you can get in a private hotel. The bus from downtown stops directly in front of the hotel, so easy to get around.The owners are also travelers and know how to make your stay in Nice most enjoyable. The food is all fresh and prepared by the owners. We took dinner at the hotel both nights and would do it again.

Located 3 blocks from the port and a short walk to the sights and tastes of the old town, Claire Hotel was a lovely, quiet shelter. Luba and Esther, owners, are cultured, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. They recommended and booked restaurants. Luba had interesting conversations with us almost every morning. -
