The overall experience is a little unconventional as this is a
residential unit that is being rented out. When we first arrive, we
were sure if we were in the right place. A quick phone call confirmed
that in fact we were in the right place. The unit owners showed up a

Studio Austerlitz was a perfect choice for my weekend visit to Strasbourg. The studio itself is lovely and perfect for a solo traveler or couple -- very cozy and well maintained, even with charming art on the walls. The location was also ideal, literally minutes walking time to the Cathedral and other attractions. Finally, the proprietor, Benedicte, was absolutely lovely -- she insisted on picking me up at the train station, kept my bag on the last day after check-out and delivered it to me

Well, the best aspect about this place was the two ladies who oversee the apartment. The wifi wasn't working when we arrived, so they immediately agreed to refund our money and allow us to stay there for free for the night. It's a cozy little apartment just across the river, a great location. It was a real treat to stay there. -

Great location,less than 1m from cathedral, which helps when you need to get back to the hotel and you can use the cathedral's tower as a guiding "light". Room was comfortable. This was a fantastic location just the other side of the river from the heart of Strasbourg (several of the best restaurants were nearby) the bells ringing, the breakfasts, the staff were the best! There's a cycle rental nearby which was 15euro for a whole week! We had a fabulous time, and in fact extended our stay a night with no problem.
