Great breakfast!, haven't seen the same selection and quality since Radisson Blu Resort in Split. Nice public areas. Nice staff everywhere. Reasonable prices in pool bar and hotel bar. Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

Big modern rooms, spacious bathroom. Everything is very clean. Very nice view over the port of Gruz. Our room had a big terrace and from what I could see most of the rooms have them. Free parking (in abundance), very easy to find, situated on the main road so if you are with a car very practical for trips to other towns along the coast (no need to enter the city). All in all, to me it seems like very good value for money. In most countries that I have been to you could find rooms like this only

The hotel is located in an old house outside but very near the Pile gate (one of two to the Old City). Very convenient! The room is surprisingly large and tidy and has what you expect (including a hair dryer!). There is a nice garden restaurant where you can sip wine and eat to a reasonable cost compared to inside the walls. -

Facilities were fantastic, the staff were extremely professional and helpful and the main hotel was modern and clean. The one bedroom residence is particularly spacious and ideal for a couple travelling with young children. The view from the Radisson is stunning and the hotel is set amongst beautiful grounds! I would highly recommend this hotel to any families with young children.

Everything about Hotel Lapad was first class. We arrived very early off the ferry from Bari, Italy - they stored our luggage and set us on the bus to the Old Town, which left every 10 mins from outside the hotel! It's a great location just of the Stradun, really easy to get around to the cable car, the walls, restaurants etc.
**Tip** Take a backpack and not suitcases, there are a LOT of steps in Dubrovnik old town and carrying a suitcase up and down them is a bit of a pain. don't let that put you off staying in the old town though, it's romantic and beautiful.
