Very friendly staff, especially Herman and the very kind lady. I think she is the owner. Even the night porters were gentle and they all gave a very welcome feeling. They pro active helped you with exploring the city and they did their best to help you in English as well. Rooms are kind of small but very nice and super clean. They have a boutique-ish feeling. Great rooftop terrace and every morning different kind of breakfast freshly prepared.
wszystkie opinie » My boyfriend and I had a great stay at this hotel. We stayed here 2 times and have booked a third for when we come back from our trek to the lost City. The breakfast was also very good. The staff were so nice and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great size rooms, decent breakfast, very friendly staff who mainly speak Spanish, tasteful decor, good A/C, nice rooftop with cooling jacuzzi, recommend room 7 (big, quiet, 2nd floor). The staff were very friendly,We felt "at home".The breakfast was excellent. The location is very good .We were able to go on foot to the centre of the city.Wi fi was free of charge. Everything! The room was clean and modern. The air-conditioning was amazing. The roof top terrace was a nice place to relax; and the staff were incredibly friendly! :) :). Staffs are very friendly and always try to please you. If you take a room at 2nd floor and not facing the street (as I did), it is very quiet (until the breakfast is served). There is a bathroom (very simple), with towel for trevellers to take shower and change after checkout, before take a flight. Cartagena is v hot in June (not fault of hostel!), bathroom and shower were a bit small with poor ventilation, area provided a great insight into real life in Cartagena but might leave some feeling a bit intimidated. Hotel's tour info. Needed to offer options to guests, rather than just trying to sell tickets. Important to do your own research before arrival. Breakfast was set rather than a buffet, but still very nice. Like everywhere in Cartagena the shower was only cold water. Breakfast could be better. Despite the fact that it's well located, it's neighborhood could be perceived as unsafe at first. Should clean better. Communication difficult as most staff speak no english. Alles ok. I had booked as a single person but my girlfriend decided to stay over. So they wanted to charge me an extra $50,000 pesos for a second person. I complained very highly that an extra person would be only another $10,000 pesos. Nickel and dime bullshit. After giving me their argument they conceded and only charged an extra $10,000. I had to show them this price on the internet as my argument. No hot water at shower...but with the heat of the city, I could shower with no problem and I am used to hot shower. Don't expect too much on the Breakfast. Hotel neighbourhood is not very nice...but as a female traveling alone, I had no problem. To expencive To small the rooms The location is poor for the amount of money No safe deposit.
