The hotel was clean looked good on the outside and inside. The rooms
were clean and it was good to have laminate floors. It was good that
there was a pool, workout room and a place to eat. Staff was nice and
helpful. There was not much sound from the planes flying into and out of
the airport. -

I totally enjoyed my stay and will stay again when in Toronto.I need to stay another day as flight was later and having no problem getting an extended day was really appreciated. The cont. breakfast was a bonus and did enjoy.

The staff at Alexandra hotel were very kind and exceptionally
accommodating in all our encounters during our brief (1-night) stay.
Since we were coming from the States, we didn't have any Canadian
currency, and the front desk staff readily provided currency exchange
for any amount needed. They also let us store our bags after our night

The place is very nice and we were moved to another room after the bedbug issue and we were haven quarters heat up our laundry. The owners handled it well and took immediate action. We did not get a discount or $$ for the inconvenience but we didn't ask for it either. I wanted them to take the complaint seriously, which it was. That night and the next day they were working on the room.

I travel a lot, and the staff at this hotel was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond, even just with their courteousness for basic requests, like a wake up call. They made a very regular stay, very enjoyable. -

The hotel is located just a few steps from the u of Toronto main campus
and Royal Ontario Museum. It's a 10-minute walk to the East to Yonge
St and a 20-minute walk South to China town for a great selection of

I am a value conscious person. The price was right. Breakfast was

the hotel had the Westin 'feel' with all the personal touches you would expect in terms of service. It also had the advantage of having an outside pool which made it feel more of a 'leisure' hotel despite obviously being a popular business conference event destination. The concierge staff were extremely helpful, I liked the green initiatives that were in place in terms of housekeeping and there were a few good shopping malls within taxi distance - Fairview, Shops at Don Mills and Yorkdale

Due to the weather / wind direction, the hotel was on the landing approach for the Toronto airport. I loved watching the planes come in low. Yet, inside the hotel, there was no airplane noise at all!

friendly during check in and check out. I stayed for one night, and

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the
RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time
for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just
walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as
the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another
world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was
