Owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Minor confusions fixed immediately and graciously, the food at dinner was excellent and even a fire was set up outside by the beach. Watching cottages come and go from the marina provided entertainment fireside. Really great experience. -

They used high end finishes and fixtures which made the room seem like a much more expensive hotel. When the staff found out it was my companion's birthday they left us a bottle of complimentary wine. A nice touch! I would stay here again in a minute. Great location, too! -

We had a wonderful time at the Forest Motel and Woodland Resort and would reccommend it heartily! The location is both absolutely stunning, right on a small lake, and convenient, hidden in the forest and far enough from the highway. We had a wonderful trip. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. Since we are outdoor people, we absolutely loved the surroundings. We enjoyed taking a boat on the lake, walking the trails and having a campfire at night. We also enjoyed their wonderful breakfast on one of the gazebos by the lake. The staff was always kind and right there to greet us in the morning and make sure the breakfast was stocked.
It was so much more than just a place to sleep at night. We absolutely loved it

The ambience and facilities in the room such as a fridge, cups, wine glasses, microwave. The view was beautiful and the bed was comfortable with soft linens. Not very spacious but a cozy feel and the sofa and coffee table made it feel like home. -

We were provided with a room upgrade as it was our anniversary. The view from our room was great; we could see the bay, the main plaza area and part of the mountain, the best of everything! The 1 bedroom suite was cozy and comfortable with all the everyday items you need. Lots of activities within easy walking distance. Nice that there were activties at a variety of price points.

During our stay, one night we had to leave the building twice because of
fire alarm. The second one made us late for my children's snowboard
camp (they missed half of it). As I complained about it at the hotel,
they organized my children being accepted to the afternoon school at no

I have been coming to Cranberry Resort since quite some time and really like the place. Like the fact that there is a salt water pool. Love the junior suites with the view of the lake. Staff is very friendly. The resort is clean and doesn't smell musty. Comfortable beds. I also like the rooms where you can open the window.
