  Clean rooms, helpful staff, on-site spa, got a ground-level room so that I can bring my bike in and out easily. Also the lady front desk clerk let me keep my bike and luggage in my room as I went for my massage even though it was past the 11:00 check-out time. The staff were great - they went out of their way to be helpful. In the morning when there were no cups left in the breakfast area, the woman at the front desk very kindly gave me her own ceramic mug.

  Very clean and quiet. Clerk was very helpful. I originally requested a smoking room. He steered us towards the newly renovated, non-smoking wing & provided a chair and ashtray on the balcony just outside our room... - Nice friendly staff. Great Location. Rooms were old but clean

  I would highly recommend this B&B. Marlis, who owns and runs the B&B, is a treasure and a very welcoming hostess. She is friendly, helpful and kind. She serves the most delicious breakfasts, eggs, fruit, muffins, delicious tomato sauces. Much of the food was purchased fresh from the local market and some was even grown in the backyard. I have visited many B&Bs in Canada since the late - Marlis the owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants, telling us about local activities that were occurring that weekend and made us a custom gourmet breakfast. As well, I enjoyed the location - within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the lakefront.
