Had trouble connecting at certain times of the day. Cleaning and front desk staff were friendly. Whatever they use to clean the hotel leaves a damn good smell in the halls and room. In general hotel felt a little oldish but not a problem to me - Good price and location near the airport and various restaurants including a very good one with bar, on site. Excellent and friendly staff. Also indoor pool where we had our 4 grand children over for a visit and a swim. Towels provided at the pool. The room, linens, bath and bed were all very good. Very good parking. Will be staying here again on our next trip to the area. Thanks everyone!

  Although the building is old, the room was clean. The building is unique and has an old world charm. The internet was free and breakfast was included making it a good deal. This was my first visit to Thunder Bay so can't comment on the location of the hotel except for the fact that I chose it because it was on the waterfront - needs to capitali... co mówią ludzie » ze on that. Staff very helpful and efficient. - The hotel reminded me of when I was young and would travel with my family. We often stayed in older hotels. You had a stunning view from our window. The beds were new, clean and quite comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The first morning we were there our car wouldn't start. A staff member call caa, which is Canada's version of aaa. We had the car up and running within an hour.

  The Motel is rather old, but the room was clean and quite comfortable. The heart shaped Jacuzzi was the most comfortable and longest one we've seen. We are both tall and always found the corner jacuzzi's to be really small and uncomfortable. There was also a gas fireplace in the room. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. - The location was perfect. On the river and bike path and bike train! Quiet and relaxing. Super accommodating. As tandem cyclists, Joe matched us to a main level corner unit. They also kept our bags on checkout so we could extend our bike ride with a friend to Queenston Heights. Also recommended a $1.95 breakfast! Great help. But the coolest feature was looking out our picture window at a 70 foot Buddhist pagoda!? Also used the refreshing outdoor pool to cool off.

  Beautiful hotel for the money. We didn't do an extended stay, but in the event I do I am going to look for Homewood Suites first.
