We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

great location would come back and perhaps camp or stay again in cabins, kayak....convenient as we were booked to do the Princess Louisa at 9:15 in morning....also liked having option to go the Wilderness Lodge to eat.

Ok People are freaking out way too much about this hotel, probably
travellers who are looking for a luxury resort for very little money.
The place was clean, had good staff, and cheap. I got a king size bed, all to myself :P The staff at night was awesome and made sure everything was safe.

The rooms, although old, were very clean and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance to tourist attractions. The gentleman on the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable about Victoria. An enjoyable stay!

The front desk staff was professional, warm, and accommodating. When I asked for a quiet room, they put me on the top floor and it WAS a quiet, beautifully appointed, newly decorated room that gave me the serenity I was seeking.
