Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

Lorrie & MIchlle were great host - friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend Money Pennies if you are visiting Campbell River. -

friendliness of Canadians!!). The place was small but that made it
quicker to heat up on the cold days we were here. Mini-fridge,
microwave, tv, lots of pillows, coffeemaker with good coffee...all the

・Some people say this hostel is a bit noisy because the first floor is a bar but for me it's no problem. I stayed on the second floor (i.e. room 2XX) in this hostel twice and I didn't hear any noise from the bar. -

It fitted in with our journey back to mainland vancouver as a one night stop over. Friendly staff, I was able to check in ahead of time. Checkout is 11 am, which is very nice. A liquor store is in walking distance, which gives you a chance of enjoying a stay the dark rooms with thin walls.
