Jean-Paul was incredibly welcoming and friendly -- he made a detailed introduction of Brussels when he knew it's our first time there. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the basic stuff you'd need and there's even a Nespresso machine! Tea and coffee were always well-stocked. There was a great selection of TV channels

The room was very spacious and clean with a well equipped and stocked kitchen. Koen was a most gracious host, full of information. He carried our bags up and down to and from our room which we, as a mature couple, greatly appreciated. Cleanliness of the facilities was immaculate. The location is very good.

I intend to stay at the Grand Sablon whenever I happen to be in Brussels. A huge plus was the weekend special, which made it very affordable. Comfortable, spotless, staff very accommodating. This was a great boutique hotel to stay in, don't let the tavern entrance scare you when checking in as the staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms on the first floor are very nicely decorated and space -
Though it is a small hotel with around 13 rooms it is very cosy. The hotel is built around 1930s and thus creates a very lovely atmosphere, with original reception and bar interior still intact. It has good location in the city center (close to both metro and tram), big and spacious bed, proper shower. Breakfast was allright. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
