Absolutely everything...from the moment we were greeted by the porter to the time we got into the elevator (seriously couldve stayed in there all night and have my own dance party!!) . But then when the doors opened to the lobby, my face dropped, I could've cried! ...It was the most spectacular lobby I'd ever seen. The aesthetics was like music to my soul! I wanted to live there for ever. Loved the quirkiness, the ecclectic decor, the fun yet luxurious feel it offered. And then we went to our r.
wszystkie opinie » We loved everything about the QT Hotel. We didn't want to leave. We arrived mid morning and were surprised that we were able to go directly to our room. We had expected to store our bags and come back later. We were then told that we could have full internet access at no additional charge. We had selected breakfast daily as part of our QT experience and was pleasantly surprised when it was a la carte and we could order anything we liked. We also enjoyed the freshly made juice. A very nic. We really liked the concierge, they were so helpful and nothing was a bother..fantastic, well done Jay, Steve and the beautiful young lady with firey red hair!! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in..after a long drive, it was so good to have a good night's sleep. The breakfast was great as was the staff, I felt very safe with the security that was present at the bar at night. Very happy!!! Thank you. Decor best ever. Love the sliding mirror wall to the bathroom so could have plenty of natural light from Market St. Also love the glass decorative wall. Bed comfortable as was seating. The shower was lovely. The building is lovely, lift music quirky and fun. Staff incredibly friendly and charmingly helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Location perfect. Free Internet great. Quirky decor but really fits the setting. Our room was excellent, so well appointed and luxurious although I am sure we received an upgrade as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Loved the unique design of the rooms and the comfort. Concierge staff at the front door went out of their way to secure us cabs in the pouring rain. Very funky and certainly different ... Nothing not to like!. The price was a bit too steep at $460 per night for one person ( as of course the price covers 2 persons but I was travelling alone). The only crisitism was the man filling the mini bar kept entering the room with just one knock and just let himself in. Owners /managers to be congratulated. Only fault we could pick was housekeeping didn't replace our floor & hand towels and we had to call 3 times to get some brought up. Absolutely hated the fact that the very large centrally placed ancient passenger and staff lifts made a huge amount of noise. I changed rooms to one as far as possible but could still hear the constant loud clunking every time the lift was used. Wait to get the car from valent parking. out of date crisps in the mini bar reception staff rather disinterested. Bathroom was dark. nothing. Only had two nights there and on my own, will have to go back and share the experience. Nothing to fault. The deposit of $200 for incidentals took over two days to be credited back to my account. Whilst generally all staff were helpful I found front desk staff to be lacking a friendly and welcoming demeanour. Lighting was atmospheric but not very functional. Nice for the first day but then annoying. Staff were very friendly but check-in seemed disorganised - they forgot to bring our luggage to our room! Lack of pool and gym make this a hotel at which I wouldn't regularly stay. The bath is way too small to actully use as anything other than for a child or very small adult but other than that, the bathroom is well set out. A really bright light in the bathroom would be useful, those installed are stilll a little dim for make up application. The lights in the room could also be a little brighter, I found it difficult to read anything other than directly under the bed reading light. Leaving. Nothing. Two very small things Ticked for courtsey newspaper on checkin was not delivered next morning. Additional 2 bath towels would of been nice. Have to check in after 12am. It would be perfect if could check in earlier , since we booked the room. We were unable to open windows but the room was quite apart from the fact we were beside the lift and that noise was very annoying!. No full length mirrors in the room. Ordered Ice for room which never arrived Would be nice to have a rooftop pool. Our room was on the small size. Bed was a little too soft for my liking but still amazing. All was good. Asked if there was parking and was advised I can just pull up and my car will be taken care of. Being passed a 70 dollar bill when checking out for it was very dissapointing considering it is a 5star hotel and just an overnight stay. Staff pushed to the max. Understaffed for a five star hotel. Bed was a little too soft. But that's being fussy ;). Parking is a bit difficult, but it was only a small inconvenience given it's amazing location. The fact that my room wasn't ready and they said they would ring when it was and didn't....also I had to wait ages for my luggage to be brought up...the girl at the desk eventully brought it up to me. no negatives. Had a great stay. We didnt stay long enough!. Leaving. Couldn't check in earlier then 2 , didn't feel it offered somewhere particularly peaceful to rest until that time and when finally in my room a guy walked in. Appears he was given my room key. Obviously they apologised. Possible over priced but it was a weekend but still paid over $300 for a standard room...without breakfast. It was all very good.
