  I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I sat in the reception area. The manager after asking me if I had been "left behind" I explained my problem, she very kindly took me to a ve... co mówią ludzie » ry quiet lounge room where I could relax & wait for my companions return before going straight to the ship. This lady's kindness was above and bey - Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

  It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast.   This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area.   Close to Kings Cross and great value as well considering the location. The room was small. and a little run down but i don't expect the Ritz for the price I paid.   My partner and I booked 4 nights here as it was a great price and location. We then extended 3 more nights as we really enjoyed it. Our room is nice and spacious with a Tv and balcony. Even though there are only ceiling fans we found it still did the trick and worked well! The breakfast was an added bonus with eggs, bacon, toast - We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels. Our clean twin room had tiled ensuite, fridge, TV & aircon. We just had to walk down through a park (tennis courts & pool) & were at Central Stn, the hub for all transport. Although it was on a major road our room was pretty quiet. Staff organised shuttle to the airport which was $12 door to door whereas train to / from Central $15! Excellent pub & other eateries nearby.
