I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the
morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our
way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

I usually stay here when I visit Sydney. It's right in the heart of the CBD and very cheap. Hotel is very well located near Central station. Big mugs for coffee and tea and big glasses. Enough coffee and tea. Lots of thick pillows. Fridge, kettle, etc. Big desk. My room had a nice view of the street (not all rooms do) and very quiet with triple thick windows. Enough shampoo, conditioner and soap. I will recommend this hotel. - Eve

Anderledy Lodge, part of the Mary MacKillop complex, is small scale hotel nestled among trees and gardens near the centre of North Sydney. As a result it is quiet but close to the main roads and to North Sydney station. There are several high rise hotels nearby that I have stayed in in the past that were not as comfortable nor as quiet.

The accommodation was simple and comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room which was cool on a hot day in Sydney! There were lovely little touches like a personalised greeting flyer with information about the property and I particularly liked the little Lint chocolate that was left as a treat. The garden and surrounds we're beautiful and very peaceful, just what I wanted as I needed time out for a few hours before heading to a party nearby. I didn't arrive back until very late at nig

Cheap, clean, great location. Nice staff. Based in Sydney Uni which is a lovely old university. I felt like I was walking into the set of Harry Potter.
Short walk to King St for a huge variety of breakfast choices & buses to the city centre.
Will definitely use it again.
