The hotel staff were extremely friendly.
The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre.
The staff worked really hard to try and keep the place clean, shame that was ruined five minutes later by some disgustingly filthy people! -

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

The location is amazing and the manager was attentive and helpful. The room was very clean and the staff worked hard at maintaining a nice establishment to stay. The communal area was huge with free wifi and good sized kitchen, really nice roof terrace but would be even better if wifi was available up there, but then I suppose it would be packed every day! The staff were always friendly and happy to help with any concerns or questions. I will be back here if I'm ever in Sydney again!! -

Best thing about it was the location - right smack in the middle of
George Street, very near to Central Station and best place for
shopaholics as the Haymarket area is just around the corner. The room
was surprisingly clean and well-kept, not a 5-star luxury one but had a
pleasant experience. Felt secure and safe enough to leave my items
inside the room (it has a safe for valuables such as passports, etc),
the reception was very accommodating and instantly booked my airport

A nice, clean, modern hostel. Bathrooms/showers were in good condition and clean. A great location close to central station, so it's easy to catch a train to the airport/blue mountains etc. Staff were really friendly too.
