I love the feel of it - just like grandma's
house. I first went to this motel when the children were at boarding school. They loved it too and everyone was so friendly. Parking and a buffet breakfast is also good and a wine in one of the lounges downstairs is a great end to shopping in Queen street. You can tell I'm from the bush. -

The setting was close to city and easy to walk to central station. The room was in and old style house and was great. The room was spotless and renovated recently. The hotel is located in Oxford Street in Paddington, a bit outside the central business district but easily accessib - we felt that we received courteous contact with staff - the room was clean and comfortable - good value for money. We were left stranded at number 21 Oxford St., Darlinghurst by the "Air port to hotel " courtesy bus, and were most impressed when someone from the hotel came in a private car to transport us to to Arts Hotel. We received our early morning call as requested. When we have another visit to Sydney we hope you can accommodate us.

Location to relatives living in Paddington. Location to Rushcutters Bay. Suited well.
Comfortable room, well serviced, enjoyed stay. Staff efficient and friendly. Ambience really good. The dining room looks out onto a park, very good, very good location for a pleasant, quiet stay in Sydney. Will stay again.

I loved the location, the design of the hotel, the downstairs access to two wonderful bars, being close by to great restaurants, a short walk to Potts Point, to fashionable Paddington & to the beautiful harbour views of Elizabeth Bay. I especially loved the comfy bed, this is always a must when staying in a hotel, I love a good night's sleep.

Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! -
Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around.

The staff were excellent especially Sam - after staying the first night
in the room as mentioned - I spoke with Sam who immediately upgraded us
to a beautiful room on the 13 floor - because of his attention to detail
and his manner we are definitely coming back to stay here - the other
front of house staff were also very very good.
