  Boerum Hill is a great alternative to staying in Manhattan. We were travelling for a friends wedding in the area and probably wouldn't have considered it before but definitely would again. We stayed in the top floor, two bedroomed apartment which gave us much more flexibility than you would have in a hotel room. You can cook meals, chill out, watc... hva folk sier » h tv and have a bit more comfort in your down time. The space is great, two good sized double rooms and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Free WiF - Having previously paid a small fortune to stay in cramped dingy hotels rooms in Manhattan, we decided to try this as an alternative. It was a great decision. You get so much more for your money, in terms of space and facilities. Our room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We were in a guest house but had total independence and freedom. The very helpful manager was available at specified times but left us to ourselves unless we initiated contact. The area has plenty bars and restaurants nea
