Needed to replace our blowdryer at 10:00 p.m., staff was there within 10 minutes with a new one. Staff was always available and very visible in lobby to greet you as you came in and went out. I found the Pearl based on two criteria -- it was not as expensive as some of the other hotels and it was highly ranked by both travelers and star ratings.   We had a terrible stay at a NYC hotel previous to this hotel so we walked away from our booking & found this place. It was brand new & their service levels were incredible! Great, comfy little rooms, free wifi, a guest lobby area on 27th floor that overlooks Chrysler building & other skyscrapers, computers to access & complimentary... hva folk sier » snacks! Location is excellent, walking distance to Times Sq, Rockefellar building & quick food options for breakfast like Pret. Overall we loved - The location is great. It is a new hotel still under construction but it is almost done. It is very good to have complimentary drinks and snacks during de day on 27th floor with a couple of computers and printer to acces . You can refill your water bottle with fresh cold water just outside your bedroom door. The bathroom is very well lit which is quite unusual in hotels and room nicely decorated. You can also open the window.
