Staff was wonderful! Hotel design was open, beautiful, clean, and quite. Perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and walking around the city. Valet parking was great (and included in the price of the hotel!). Would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family! -

We liked everything about this hotel. From the clean, spacious room to the friendly courteous staff, the excellent food at the 2 restaurants, and the proximity to the subway. We attended the Army Navy game, and we intend to return to Philadelphia and will definitely stay at The DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia City Center!

Your registration staff was outstanding especially Paula Overstreet. She truly knows what good customer service is all about. I asked her about a good place for breakfast and she gave me a breakfast voucher. She was pleasant and made me feel right at home. Our TV had poor reception. She had a repair person at our room within 10 minutes and followed up with a phone call. For me excellent customer service is the most important aspect of a hotel stay.

I was at a Sheraton that I hated and switched hotels and it was like a breath of fresh air. The desk greeted me with a smile and a glass of wine. The hotel is adorable, my room, the bed, the bathroom were attractive, clean, functional and comfortable. Thank you.

Great staff. The hotel has its own swiming pool and fitness area(!) and 3 computers with free internet access. Great rooms, enough space, nice bathroom, location close to City Hall. By paying slightly more than we normally pay, we were able to get a much better room in a quality hotel with a great staff. was the only one checking in at the time, nevertheless they were so very
nice. I was able to early checkin, they sent dishes at request b/c I
had lunch with me, helped with directions and emphasized the
car/driver available to guests should I need it provided it was

Though it is an older hotel, the rooms are contemporary, tastefully decorated, modern, lovely and comfortable. I certainly felt as if I had splurged on the room. I would stay again. The location of the hotel is convenient to shopping, dining, culture, the park at Rittenhouse Square. We walked everywhere.

Staff very friendly on arrival and throughout. The room was a large size with plenty of space and so clean. Amazing location right there in the middle of the city, highly recommended and a free BBQ Wednesday evening and the staff there were great and the food amazing, thanks very much for a great trip to Philadelphia -
